Be the Difference: Volunteer
Did you know that, through volunteering, you can make a difference while also gaining valuable experiences? Yes, you read it right! From leadership skills to gaining insight into global ethical issues and geopolitical dynamics. Although is not a paid job, throughout the process you will realize that every every smile and every grateful look is worth more than any paycheck.
Here are three places where I volunteer, all located in Gainesville, where I live. Each of these organizations has a meaningful impact on the lives of many individuals.

UF Health volunteer, a place where you can reduce patients’ emotional stress and help the hospital run smoothly. You not only gain knowledge of medical terminology, but also develop strong patient interaction skills.

My journey with each of these organizations began when I started college and discovered my passion and purpose in life. Each student, patient, and family I have helped has brought color to my life. I am eternally grateful for these opportunities. Be a part of it! It only takes one application, well, in this case three. Three different ways to make the world a better place.
